Had a good weekend. Brief gaming on Saturday, and then saw Narnia /and/ Aeon Flux on Sunday. It was a movielicious day! Both movies are good and Worth Seeing. Also, for those who were worried: the Christ symbollism in Narnia is easily ignorable, or easily seeable, depending on your perspective. It strikes a happy medium, which will no doubt irritate /someone/. Also, Narnia, for all the violence is a very 'clean' movie. There's little blood, dirt, muck, etc. I've heard some people complain about this, but doing so, I think, misses a very fundamental premise of the film: it's a /faerie tale/ for /children/. And as that, it works wonderfully.

Also, have been thinking of a Planescape adventure in Sigil. Probably a solo adventure, or a side-quest for a party to help a party member. Tentatively called, "I left my heart in Sigil", about a flirtatious tout who charges a higher price for her services than it originally seems, and a rather bizarre quest through the Hive and the Wards, to the Sensates, and possibly even into the Outer Planes. Ideal for a low-level Prime character who doesn't yet know a lot about the nature of belief on the planes, and a decent introduction to Sigil and the Sensate faction.

I am finally reading through the boxed set of 2E stuff that I bought last time I visited you guys. Well, time before last. Interesting stuff! (Although keeping track of the spell alterations would make me cry.)

Spell alterations, magic item shifts...

Be glad that I decided to set all that aside for the party's jaunt through a corner of Baator in DL. :-)

It's a very interesting setting! You can do a lot of variant campaign and adventure ideas that would never fly in a prime world, and the idea of belief--just belief ITSELF--having actual, physical changes to the world around you is an appealing one.
