The people at Gainax are insane. Went to anime (I got out of the house! Yay me!) club tonight, and watched Naruto, Wolf's Rain...and something. The title was all in Kanji, there were no subtitles for it, so I haven't a clue what it's called, but it's by Gainax, and it is FREAKY. One of the other club members said that it made FLCL look sane.
I wouldn't go /that/ far, but it was freaky. Aside from the (well-endowed) woman named BreastBreast, and the exercisers turning into bouncing mushrooms, there was the general craziness of getting dumped in a bad console RPG (complete with a groundhog holding up text boxes talking about HP and stuff), and much smacking around of the main character. It was fun.
In other news, things are progressing nicely on B&S, despite getting cornered by two rather flippy players on the same day. And, actually, things are going even better than I had originally thought, or so I'm told. Joy! I wish Harriet could learn Ethereal Light and Ethereal Motion, though. Very flexible songs, those are.
I should be able to get the car again tomorrow (tonight?) to go to my Friday game. Which hasn't actually met in...six months? As long as I haven't had my car, anyway. Hopefully we'll be able to get that all fixed up. And possibly attend a party for a member of the group Saturday night. And I'll get to see people! *does the dance of joy*
