It has not been a great morning. I do require more than four hours of sleep. And my iPod has...died, it looks like. I think 'Rent' killed it. Sadness! Spent most of the morning walking around the campus, getting fingerprinted, and turning in my certification packet. Whee.
Sleeeeepy, and I haven't even started my four hours of work yet.
Say something, anything.
Test, one, two, three.
...anything but that.

I think I've pretty much exhausted the potential of Choroll, at least for now, and the Countess won't sell me her extra house, even after I found her missing artwork, so I think it's time to do a little travelling. I'm undecided as to which direction to strike out just now, though. I might go to Anvil to get some Fighters Guild quests? I'm not amounting to much as a mage, and there's no point my joining the Thieves or Assassins guilds, since I tend to play do-gooder type.
Even in CRPG games, I have a hard time being mean... I think that makes me a bit of a candyass, but I just can't shake it. Why should I care if a computer-generated NPC loses the shiny sword they've got locked in their display case? It's not like they're using it, or their feelings will be hurt or something. /winces/ I shouldn't give a damn! But I don't steal it anyway... I'm such a nonsensical goodygood.
Anyway, I've explored a fair bit around Choroll, been thumped by a couple of ogres lurking in a cave (ow) and in general combed the area for items of interest. My armour is chain now (funny how a shipment came in just as I hit 7-8th level) and I have a chilly magic sword that doesn't entirely suck, though my plain fine steel blade does better base damage. I am not a godkiller yet, that's certain, but I'm at least getting semi-respectable.

I'm usually a goodie-good type, but I have to admit that the Dark Brotherhood quests are /really/ clever and fun, and I like the characters involved. ...which, since they're all bloody insane, should probably be worrisome.
The Thieves' Guild, I'm ehn on. I don't steal much...admittedly, I don't need to. I've got three houses and 60K rumbling around in my pockets.

For the most part I'm a big fan of the level-scaling. I think it's a great way to make the game more open. You can go anywhere and find an appropriate challenge. That's pretty cool! That said, it would be nice to have a few more things to drool over in the shops.

I love the level-scaling. It makes things a decent challenge, but not overwhelming. The only thing that does make me rather sad is the lack of enemies at high levels...I'm level 31, and I haven't seen any /new/ foes since the low twenties. It'd be nice to see something out there that was just, RAAAAAR.

Let's see if I can remember my major skills, just for fun...
Blade, Destruction, Restoration, Bow, Security, Light Armour, Persuasion.. I think.
I would have levelled much faster if I'd taken sneak as a major, since I scurry around in the shadows all the time, but that's okay.

There are some good things out there, but not as many I was hoping for. Quest items are usually pretty good, though. Mmmm, quest items!
