Hola!

Those of you who were interested in apping Soldiers, did y'all want to belong to two formal groups, or just have Soldiers of a bunch of different Words who know the people on their side (and maybe a few of the others).

I think I'm going to go for a dance professor at the university who is also a Hellsworn Sorcerer. Certainly looking for allies, rivals, or Soldiers of God that she's tangled with in her time in Austin (about seven years).

ETA: Those interested in Soldiers of God, feel free to reply to. All of us can work out any pre-game encounters that people might be interested in, or group stuff, or whatever. :D

I'll be tossing together a Game Hellsworn working within the city government somewhere.

Since this is Austin, I'll have mine be a computer science major at UT. She's a Servant to the demon we talked about in chat.

Hey, great!

You guys want to have sort of an informal group? Semi-weekly dinner-and-complain meetings and gossip swapping, occassional bail-outs for each other (with a price, of course), and Featherwing Forecasts? :D

*grins* I am going to be a bad girl and point out that a Soldier could very easily have a background which would make him an infrequent presence...

I have a few ideas floating about, but since Hellsworn are being mentioned first... I have a Hellsworn character gnawing at my brain, with some fun potential plot hooks. As I recall, he doesn't actually know which Word he's working for, as the demon he's a Servant of hasn't ever actually specified, though he could hazard a few guesses. He'd be more than willing to get tangled up with other Hellsworn (or even non-violent Soldiers of God) just to have something to do.

[wishes she had time, sniff] ... [or that it wasn't a MUSH, but, well.] [coughs] [grins]

Good luck with the plans, though, all of you! ^_^

Curse you, going all evil like that. And after I came up with this nifty Soldier of God idea. If there are those of you out there who are going the good route, we should come up with ideas together. Strength in numbers and all that, plus it is nice to have someone to talk to.

As for you Hellsworn, well, I do have someone already approved out there I can throw into your little mix, give you some help from time to time. He never really got RPed much so bringing him back isn't too big a problem.

Ellen was once a Hellsworn Sorcerer, who belonged to a Malphan cult. Maybe she could have known or come across your character? Pull up El's background and look it over, maybe we can work out a way for our characters to have met. (This is [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]'s alternate account.)

Well, it looks like those of us considering playing Soldiers of God will be overwhelmed. :> I'm not entirely sure that I'll be playing, and it might be a week before I know for sure (on account of finals) but if I do it would be great if everyone could work out pregame encounters. We need a Soldier of God group, too, though!

Yes, we do. But I am lazy so won't be setting one up. Heh.

Not to worry. I imagine that once both groups are established, more people will eventually choose SoGs than Hellsworn. It's a much better deal. :D
