Attention!

If you have /any/ budget to spend on movies this month, spend it on Cars. It's a wonderful, wonderful movie. Masterfully done, and very neat! The plot is not original, but...they /nail/ it. Nail to the WALL.

And stay for the credits.

I also looked up the actors before hand.

It's much much much more amusing when you know who's doing some of those voices.

I loved the bit about Mack at the end. ^_^

Ze spouse says that one of the radio reviewers said much the same thing. While we are not going this weekend, I think we will go check it out sometime soon.

Yay! I have exactly 1 movie I can see, and my husband has nixed seeing an Inconvenient Truth at the Muvico. (Sad. I want to see it badly.) So I have a choice of CARS or A PRAIRIE HOME COMPANION.

It's a hard choice. I grew up forced to listen to Garrison Keillor. Hell, I even talked like that until I move to Maryland and they made fun of my hick accent until it went away. But PIXAR animated goodness calls to me.
