Bleh.
Mostly, just bleh.
But The HeX Coda is /really/ cool. I love the character interaction and plotting in the game. And HX2 has some really interesting battle setups. Very challenging, in places, but easily helped along with a few Clouds of Bewilderment and Confusion spells (I LOVE being a Bard with Greater Spell Focus: Enchantment).

Do you have Neverwinter Nights? If you do, run, do not walk, your browser to the Neverwinter Vault, and download The HeX Coda by Stefan Gagne. Only the first module and a side module are /really/ finished, but they're worth the play. It's...slightly-comedic, cyberpunk/fantasy. Wonderful character work, and some very innovative design features (such as henchmen special attacks whose effects vary depending on your relationship with that team member). It's fast, very playable, fun, and has enough 'deep' elements to keep you wondering and questioning along the way.

Have you seen the screenshots of NWN2? It looks terrifyingly beautiful.

I have! It looks very, very pretty. However, the GM content has, I've heard, been cut out of the game and has to be purchased seperately. Since, in all honesty, the NWN original campaigns are pretty wretched, that's a bit of a worry. I'd been hoping for it to have more /easily/ accessable GM content, not to make it harder.
Ah, well.
