A quote from the Hybrid RPG...uh...something or another:

"Rule # 550: There are 5 parts to this rule. Based on my Rule # 3 & Rule # 6, this: {(0,0) END} is a human, usually a male human, at least in this rpg HYBRID, since women are too complicated to make in my rpg, since creating women in my rpg requires politically incorrect math, but to return to what I was saying before I digressed, is as follows: although I’m using the {(x,y) END} from Champions/Hero to illustrate a point that being {(0,0) END} ought to be for a human, usually a male human, at least in rpg HYBRID. The variable (y) which in Champions/Hero is/was meant to define LS in terms of “END” @ some fraction that of default LS, which its C# depends on the character, better to use C2, since it will give greater LS or Life Span, but less C2 PL or Power Level, if the original C# had been C1 in terms of C2 before using the ½ which will then @ C2 increase PL to 98 C2 which is NOT mutant power but what C2 value for IQ, which is NOT what IQ is @ 98, but IQ is 260 @ 98 C2, which is then reduced to get mutant power(s). If the original C# had been C1 rater than C2, #s for both being different of course, then LS @ C1 would be 10 rather than 20, if starting default LS or 0 END had been @ 20 C1, then PL would increase to 20x2 = 40 C1 rather than 49x2 = 98 C2, but LS or Life Span using C1 is ½ the C2, meaning manipulating points @ C1, gives a 10 C1 LS rather than a 49/2 = 24.5 C2, which is a 15 C1 by X^LOG10(X), where 20 C1 = 49 C2 and 15 C1 = 24 C2, approximately. The ½ is or was supposed to be ½ of C2 for LS or Life Span, but somewhere along the line, it seems to have gotten mistranslated into ½ END..."

Double-U. Tee. Eff. I can't even figure out what the hell he's writing here. Even allowing for that English is surely not his first language -- French site -- clearly, this guy is smoking something happier than I ever take.

I am equally a-boggle. And just reading the site...it goes ON and ON and ON with no end in sight! And some very odd ideas about women.

I'm thinking it should totally be stolen for a coded manuscript or something in CoC Modern or UA. The results of a game designer after an encounter with something utterly mindblowing.

That's actually the best idea for the use of this that I could come up with... gods know one couldn't actually PLAY it.

I can't even figure out what the stats are supposed to be! It /looks/ like they're supposed to be graphed on a grid chart...which is kind of an interesting idea, but GAH!

It looks more than a little like a chunk of COBOL. My eyes glaze over and try to interpret it as streams of code and wonders what will happen when you compile and run it. Perhaps it will unleash some Elder God upon the Earth!

At least, something suspiciously close to that happened to me in my Nephilim game way back when.

I can't even make myself read that. I stare at the whole paragraph, and can only pick out a few words before my eyes glaze over.

Got to RPG.net and do a search on the Tapletop forums for Hybrid. There's a thread where he argues with people about his system. Pure comedy gold.

I am almost frightened to do so. Does he talk like THAT normally?

No matter how bad Hybrid is, FATAL is still worse - if only because on its surface, it looks like you could actually play it.

Ah, yummy. Women require 'politically incorrect math' in other words "I want to give women all sorts of stat limitations because everyone knows women are weakers, slower, and dumber (otherwise they'd be anti-social geeks like me and I could get a date) but if I did that, people would know me for the antisocial geek I am and mock me. ;_;"

It reminds me of the young writer's web-chat I used to hang out in where there was one boy who insisted over and over that women wouldn't even be able to /pick up/ a sword (in particular, a hand-and-a-half claymore, not a shortsword, but, still...), let alone swing it.

POLITICALLY INCORRECT MATH

IT HAS TO DO WITH DOPPLER EFFECT AND RESONANCE THEORY IS WHY IT IS TOO COMPLICATED TO MAKE WOMEN IN HYBRID RPG, BUT NOT IMPOSSIBLE, BUT IT REQUIRES LOT MORE WORK THAN MAKING A GUY. WOMEN HAVE MORE POINTS THAN GUYS IN HYBRID RPG BECAUSE THEY BE PRETTIER, BUT THEY USE UP THEIR POINTS FOR BEAUTY, WHY THEY BE WEAK AS GUYS: SOMEONE [A RADICAL FEMINIST SCIENTIST] STOLE ONE OF MY IDEAS, ALLOW HER TO CLONE OUT OF AN EGG, WITHOUT A SPERM: ALL RPGS & LAWS OF PHYSICS & LIFE IS BASED ON MY TRI STAT RPG, STOLEN BY THE GODS A TRILLION YEARS AGO, BEFORE I HAD CHANCE TO PUBLISH MY RPG: BASED ON IDEA OF CIRCULAR TIMELINE: OK. FOR EXAMPLE, TO CREATE A MALE HUMANOID MUTANT WITH POWER TO DESTROY THE MU OR DC EARTH'S MOON, BEING @ 30 C1 DP, ADD 10 POINTS, REQUIRING HIM TO HAVE A C1 DP OF 40, ASSUMING HE IS NOT USING EITHER TL OR/AND NEGATIVE ENERGY, WHICH REQUIRES HIM TO HAVE 30 C1 DP, BUT THAT CAN BE REDUCED FURTHER IF HE HAS SOCIETY WORKING ON THE PROBLEM, THEN ONLY 20 C1 DP IS REQUIRED OF HIM: BASED ON HOW QUICKLY HE WANTS IT DONE. OK.
