It is Saturday, and I have recieved only one and a half character sheets for the Horror game. Thus, I'm afraid we will not be playing on Sunday. Please try and have your sheets to me by next Wednesday, so that I can finish my plotting and planning, and set up the crew roster.

NO EXCUSE! You must use the alien snakes to jumpstart the spaceplane's engines and ride to Earth on a jet of flaming serpentine wrath!

Which means the game will still have to start late anyway, on account of reincarnation to gaming level being a non-instantaneous process.

You know, oddly enough, I believe the alien snakes were also the result of an ancient gypsy space caravan curse.

Er, this one doesn't involve snakes, does it? Or giant spiders (who generally want to know what you want, then consume you entire). Just checking, see...
