Last day of work!

At least, for two weeks. Which makes me rather happy, all things considered. I am eating an orange for lunch. Just an orange, for I am fat, and need to become less so. Also, getting more Vitamin C probably wouldn't kill me. Also, i feel bad for I am uncreative. I would like to be more creative, but these days, when I come home, I'm just without energy.

It is sad.

But looking forward to the party!

I agree, vegetables and fruit are in general good things. The problem is that they have to be both fresh and/or well prepared. Whereas even bad steak or pizza or shepards pie is still soaked in cheese or gravy or, well, steak, which is always good. But soggy lettuce or overripe fruit just can't be saved.

What's your costume this year? I'm dressing up as a new and cranky parent i.e., "I bought candy to give out, what more do you want? Here, take my Coffee Crisps and get off my lawn, ya punks!"

Exactly! And I tend to be really sensitive to fruits or veggies being 'off', even a little bit, too.

Pirate wench. Or, in reality, generic kinda-old-timey-female with pirate hat and sword. :)

My motto is "If the lady has a sword, I'll call her whatever she wants me to."

Have a great Hallowe'en! I think I'll be carving my pumpkin tonight. I'm hoping that tomorrow night is going to be warm enough to sit out. We're in a new neighbourhood so I have no idea if I'll have 5 kids, or 500. My plan is to sit at the front door with a couple of oil lamps and a good book, so no matter what happens the evening will be well spent. (Look! There's a large pile of candy beside me too. Whatever shall I do with it?)

*grins* Have fun! I hope that many cute and adorable children come to your door over the course of the evening, to receive delicious candy treats!
