Today!

So, today I tried out the apartment's swimming pool...for two, glorious hours. I am now slightly sunburnt, and a little sore, but undeniably happy. Afterwards, I showered and meant to (really!) go down and get my mailbox key and my address forwarded to my new place. Instead, I laid down for a moment on the bed, and woke up around five. So, uh, that becomes /tomorrow's/ chore. :D

As a random observation, I am prettier with sunburn. The slight pink it adds to my face just makes my face look...livelier, I guess.

Tonight, I went down to get drinks and snacks...I was a good girl, and actually got fruits and veggies! Forgot the green peppers again, though, drat me. I also re-read His Majesty's Dragon, and am reminded that I love it well. Also, a random reference to Russia intrigued me...I'd noticed it before, but only now kept it in mind. Apparently, Russia does not treat its dragons well at all.

I used to read Hornblower, Ramage, and..the one I can never remember the name of. All about good British sailers in the same rough time period. So the dragon books written in that style are really cool to me :)

I know what you mean. I never tan; I turn pink, then go back to white. I look more alive when I've got some pink.

Bah. That involves effort. Also makeup. Makeup is not evil, but it is a trial.
