I was sick this morning (hideous, nasty, whole body cramps -- especially in my legs. I suspect it was something I ate, because once I got everything out of my system, I started feeling better.) but I still set up all the candy stuff for tonight.

No trick or treaters. Not a one. And no decent movie marathons. (Okay, I DID get to see the original The Haunting, which was very worthwhile...yeah, Theo totally had a bitter girlcrush on Eleanor, and I was happily surprised to see it, even if it was bitter.)

It was kind of a failure as Halloween. And I am sad and lonely and still feeling kinda sick.

*cuddles* Oh hun, I'm sorry to hear that! If only we could have merged; we had knocks on our door, but no candy!

*hugs* Sadness! And I had a sign and everything! Next time, I'll give y'all my address to send people my way! It's not /that/ long of a drive....really! *hopeful*

*hug* No kids in my neighborhood either. :( I dressed up like a pirate for work, though. But it's sad to come home on Halloween and be done for the night at 6:00.

Sadness. Clearly, one of us should visit the other! :D

**hugs**

Are you in an area that does Beggar's Night a day early, by any chance? We had trick-or-treat last night...

I don't think so. I think it's just apartment-phobia plus the fact that the mall and downtown have Safe, Structured Halloween Activities that draw up a lot of the available children.
