Southern Star: Sunday. How are we looking, people?


Memento Mori: New log up: Piper's introduction, and a bit of Hedge stuff. Players! Please check the wiki regularly, particularly the Shout Outs page, and if you see anything like your GM asking when you are available for scenes, /please/ take a moment to throw something up there so I know what's happening when. Also, I notice that no one has shown any any interest in side-RP, non-GMed scenes, so far. Should I simply not expect that of this game? Let me know. Thanks.

Actually, Seth and Maddie were going to do sideRP, we were just both brainfried on the scheduled day and decided to hold off. :-) I think the problem with sideRP is that our plot, at the moment, is closer to a tabletop plot than a pickup one. Which is awesome for getting the characters to interact! But makes it tricky to do sideRP without the GM involved, and means that we're prone to full-party scenes which are a pain to schedule. Once we wrap up this plot (and more people make alts? [hopefuls]), I think sideRP will pick up.

Also, obligatory reminder about the Recent Changes page! Just bookmark that and you don't have to flip around to see what's been updated or who's updated it. o/ It's 80% of the reason I react to wikiedits so fast; I just bookmarked that page, visit it in my daily runthrough of bookmarks, and that's it. (The other 20% is me being a Djinn of the Media and therefore OCD about things like wikis. [snickers])

edit: Also, because I'm forgetful, the possibility of flashback side-RP came up too (Seth+Val and Seth+Bran). I'm just terrible at flashback scenes, so those are unlikely to happen. [hangs head] So our current options on sideRP boil down to flashback stuff (which other people may have trouble with too), or trying to handwave the whole "we are in the middle of doing things" issue, or just doing an official GMed scene and saving the sideRP for later. [laughs] Basically.

I've been waiting to see if any of the other two guys with Laszlo were interested enough to suggest a scene first - also, depending on what happens in the Hedge, our Hedge-runners might alter when and how our scene ends. I'm definitely interested in side RP, I just don't want to ALWAYS be the one to suggest it.

Posting the times you're available in the next week on the wiki is a good way to start! As we've not had a single instance of side RP, yet, I don't think anyone is in danger of being ALWAYS the one to suggest it just now. :P
