I occassionally search my first and last name in Google, because of where and in what field I work. Want to see what a potential person would see if they searched me. The good news is: they would not see me! My first and last name return stuff for other people entirely, except for one innocuous link to my bio page for my graduate assistantship. The more famous me is apparently a member of the American Angus Association.

Because I don't want potential employers or parents to judge me based on the stuff that I look at/participate with on the Internet. Particularly not in the rural South where I am now.
