Picture!

Okay, I got a camera and took a picture, while trying it out. So, here ya go, if you're interested.

Me

I have a very messy room, with not enough book shelves, which is why those books are in horrible disarray behind me. Although, to be scarily honest, my room is a lot cleaner now than it was, say, a few months ago.

And I should have smiled.

[snrk!] [nodnods] I mean, they're fine on some people, and they're no problem when small, but... Way too few people do closed-lips smiles, IMO. ^^

Yes! Some people grin like sharks. Some people don't. I'm one of those people who grins as if she's eyeing your jugular, so I try to stick to closed-mouth smiles as well. And I had braces when I was younger; I think a great many people who had braces as kids are more fond of the closed mouth smile.

Heeeeeee. [snickers, nods]

I just don't like the way I look when I grin, myself. Of course, my default expression is a "..."-sorta one... >.> So it's easier to go from that to closed-mouth smiling.

(Who said frowning took effort? Apparently I frown when I'm not actively trying not to, according to Mom. [snickers])

Me, too! I always get someone saying, "You look upset! What's wrong?" when I'm in a perfectly happy mood, just not concentrating on /looking/ happy, if that makes any sense.

This clearly means that we were meant to rule the world, for we already have our Serious Expressions well trained and ready to go.

[nodnods!] I understand entirely. It takes effort to smile all the time, especially if your default expression is "..."-ish... [grins, wry] (I mean, I know people who're the exact opposite - always smiling, and look SCARY when they aren't, because if something could make that person be less than happy... Well, yeah. ^^ But!)

[laughs!] Yes! ^^

I always get someone saying, "You look upset! What's wrong?" when I'm in a perfectly happy mood ...

and now you are suddenly upset even though you weren't before? Yup been getting that for years.

Oh, yes. In my case, it tends to go that someone asks me what's wrong, and nothing is, so I say that, they don't believe it, keep pestering me, and I end up /wanting/ to say, "Yes, something's wrong. You're getting on my nerves!" But usually don't. :/

[giggles]

Mm, smiles. I have about 20 different smiles, and they range from tiny little closed lips ones, Elosmiles, even, to scary fang-baring ones. And the best part? I can morph 'em. >) I can start with the Elosmile and end with the "Wow, I like your throat. Bend it a little so I can rip it out better, will you?" one. Scares the wits out of people. ^_^
