...this whole 'insomnia' thing has /got/ to stop. I demand to see the man in charge, and I want my money back! This circadian rhythm is broken, and I demand a refund. Let's see some innovation here, people! Are we men or are we mice?

Actually, I'm neither, since I have the womb thing going on and all, but my point still stands! Is it nobler to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous sleeplessness, or stand up and dope myself silly, and by doping, lose consciousness? There should be a law. Or at least a referendum. Did I even spell that correctly? I doubt it. Who cares! Spelling is not required at four thirty in the morning; it's like lemons in your iced tea, an option, but one that people insist on including even when you ask them not too. Which is why you need to make lemonade, because if you didn't, there would be lemons. And lemons are bad.

So, there you have it. I can't sleep because lemons are an abomination against God. It makes perfect sense.

Actually, you DID spell referendum properly.

What I may recommend is pushing yourself through regardless, not sleeping a wink, and passing out at, say, 9 pm the next day.

Mmmmm, brutality.

Well, yes, we COULD just round up a posse and beat her into unconsciousness... oh, is my inner monologue not staying on the inside again? ;)

Is it better to be loved or feared?

The world wonders.
No wait, it did that for TF 34.
Hmm.
Maybe.

"It is best to be both loved and feared, but if you cannot be the both, then be feared. Men love by their own wills, and are fickle with it, but men fear by your will, and can be steered with it. Just take care never to be reviled, for men will ultimately seek to destroy that which they revile." Okay, that's a lousy paraphrase. :D

Oh, I solved the logic puzzle. That was fun! Yay for putting it up on your LJ!

Still, pretty close. :) Cheers on the paraphrasing.

AND the logic. Mmmm, logic puzzles.

Hee. I need to reread my Machiavelli. It's an interesting book, and a useful one. :)

Mmmmm, indeed. Very much fun. And that one was one of the more complex ones that I've come across. When we used to do them in class, we rarely went more than three layers deep, and this was five...six if you count the positions of the houses.

From: [identity profile] cpip.livejournal.com

Yup. My matrix (done up in Excel) was 6, because it did help to have the house locations. By the time I found out who had the fish, I still hadn't solved all the other points. :)

Pets was actually the last thing I solved. Color and position of all the houses came first, then the nationalities, and I did the beverages/smokes together.

Hmmm. I managed to get pets before drink/smoke, but that may've just been how I read it all.

I just found it quicker to go around the back. Smokes were probably the easier matrix to work out, once you had the house colors/nationalities, and drinks went along with smokes. 'Fish' was actually the last blank I filled in. :D

Hee! *coughs* Did I mention I have a tendency to babble when I'm tiiiired?

I also. And to giggle. It's apparently entertaining sometimes (and irritating others).
