Exalted? Hmmmm.
I am now the proud (and extremely grateful) owner of the main Exalted book, so that I can make a character for a happy happy variant game. I've read through most of the player-oriented stuff, and it seems like a fun system (although White Wolf /still/ makes me twitch, just on general principles). I've even got a preliminary sheet written up for my character, although it's just stats and stuff...the background and so forth will come after I've got the details hammered out. Already, a fair amount is starting to percolate in my mind: my little combat monkey is a bit more clueful and social than I originally gave him credit for. Not much, perhaps, but still. I'm a little sad that getting Backgrounds appropriate to the character took up many of my freebies, but hey. He's nobility, and thus must be statted out as such.
