JESUS FUCK CHRIST. It feels as if my uterus has sprouted small, shattered-glass teeth and is trying to gnaw its way through my stomach in order to burst from under my ribs like some procreative alien parasite. Damnit. OW.

If I'm in this much pain, I should at least be getting decent sex /sometime/ in the cycle to make up for it. I want to file a protest.

Effective image. I've had cramps that bad exactly once, and I hope to never repeat the process. (Which makes me wonder, suddenly, if getting one's tubes tied stops /that/ whole mess, or if it does nothing but make one infertile and the whole nasty mess continues.)

As I understand it, the only way to stop it for sure is a hysterectomy. Pull out all the plumbing, and the cramps stop.

I'm not ready to go that far, though. :p
