I finally got around to watching the clip of Jon Stewart on Crossfire. First of all, not being a watcher of the Daily Show, he was far more reasoned and articulate than I'd ever given him credit for. /And/ he's funny, even when he's being serious. I have to say that I enjoyed watching it.

Jon Stewart rocks, yeah. [grins] I don't watch the Daily Show regularly, but he's GREAT. ^_^

*grins* It was really great. He came off as mostly reasonable and sane, although exaggerating a bit for comic effect, while the other two...well, didn't.

[nodnods] The one guy didn't even seem to speak up that much, and the other one... uh, yeah. [laughs] [grins] Jon Stewart usually comes across that way, too, although he was definitely more serious in Crossfire than he is on The Daily Show. [fangirls at him, still] ^_^

CARLSON: Wait. I thought you were going to be funny. Come on. Be funny.

STEWART: No. No. I'm not going to be your monkey.

I think you get more out of watching it, though. It was really good, as you've both already said. :)

And I agree completely, re watching it. [grins] (In fact... [hunts] There's apparently a torrent of the clip, and this site has the clip in two free forms and one paid form (the higher-quality free form has no problems with it; I haven't seen the other two). ^_^ </Archivist>) It's great.

I need an icon (and the space for another icon) that has Jon with pwned then the Crossfire host with j00. Just for the Megatokyo reference as well.

I didn't see it live, but we watched it with some friends who had downloaded it from iFilm. It was wonderful.
