My RL In Nomine game is winding to a close in the next month. Partially, this is because I'm running out of things to do with the characters, and partially it's because one of the gaming group is moving to California, and it's a good time to switch over. Also, I'm getting a little tired of GMing...want to /play/!
It does put me in the sad situation of losing not one, but two, local friends in the next couple of months, though. Also, my two female friends, which is just damned sad. So I'm going to try to go to anime club again this semester, and stick with it this time, for the interaction if not the actual anime. I need to get out and do things with people. I need to make friends.
Also, today I've cleaned up a little. My apartment no longer looks like the tornado hit, and I can eat off my dining room table again. I still need to do Stuff with it, to make it look more than just Not Hideous, and the bedroom is still a wreck, but I feel better. And I will actually be able to call the maintainance people on Tuesday about my damned kitchen light and /not/ be ashamed of what the place looks like when they arrive. That's a good thing.
Finally, I suspect my father has bought me a laptop. He's being just too damned gleeful about my 'birthday present', and letting me know that I'm getting it early as soon as it arrives, etc. I certainly do not dislike the idea of getting a laptop, but I kind of wonder if he can really afford to be buying something like that right now. *sigh* I could be wrong, though!
