Note to Self:

Lifting weights in a non-air conditioned weight room when it is /this/ damned hot is not a good idea. Not even when you bring water. I feel like someone just kicked me with a furnace.

Yay, hotboxing. Or so it is called in the military. The Marines have a version where they put the guys in full sweats, take them into a -heated- room, and make them alternate between working out and full-contact hand-to-hand combat matches (padded of course). While I generally prefer a room be warm when working out, particularly lifting, I can't imagine it in this heat and humidity.

This is the first day that it's been /that/ bad. I still managed to do my (short and pathetic) workout, but man, it was so much harder.

Some of the mixed martial art guys, to cut weight, will put an exercise bike in a sauna and workout like that to lose the last few pounds of water so they can make weight. That's insanity, I can't imagine doing that.

Man. I guess I can see why, but I'm with you; I can't imagine actually /doing/ it. :D
